In regard to adult medical day programs this one is rather small and medium kept. The location is hidden in an industrial park. There are some activities that occur during the day but they have limited off campus interactions. It is not the worse facility I’ve seen but also not the best. I would check it out and do a tour day to gauge if this is a program for you or not. As most adult medical programs they have catered food that is nutritious based so it may lack flavoring or taste as you are use to.

This place is not managed properly They never have enough drivers. My father is scheduled to be picked up at 8:30am and they’re never on time, most of the time they don’t even show up. You would think they would have the decency to give you a courtesy call if they’re not coming or if they’ll be 2 hours late, but they don’t you’ll just be sitting outside waiting.Absolutely unacceptable
The new Director Ms. Kristin has been great to work with and really accommodating during these times. I am always talked to and dealt with in a professional manner. My family member has severe disabilities but never feels left out or not apart of the group. She always comes home with macaroni necklaces, beaded bracelets, and some kind of homemade watch. I’ve dealt with a few adult daycares, but I have to say the Active Day Baltimore has been the best one yet!
I transferred my daughter to this medical day facility in October of 2019. Since her arrival to the center, the service for us has been FANTASTIC! They are very communicable if and when something occurs at the facility concerning her. They transport her to and from my home, which was not occurring with her former facility. Ayana will respond promptly to all inquiries, even after hours.
