I have been to active day a few times and almost all the clients know who I am! They love the one on one talks about their favorite movie, character, or hobby. Each of them are very special. Lori and Jeannice are very caring for the people there and treats them as their own family. Active Day in Richmond has it going on!
I was with Active Daycare for over a year. I loved my health care aid and the care she gave me was full of professionalism, kindness, and empathy. However, management at local office was not. I was not invited to events for the clients. I actually fell on Sunday night and black both eyes. My aide reported it to management but no incident repor was ever filed. Also, the way my aid was treated as an employee was so disrespectful and unprofessional.
Love active day and all of the management team! They are always readily available for employees and help any way possible.
