Garbutt was top notch! They took over a renovation gone bad and provided incredible service. They are everything I needed in a contracting and restoration company. Transparent, real, timely, honest and had great communication. Zac met my every communication need. Belfor Property Restoration handled our claim phenomenally! From the get-go, Rob Walker and Kent Gray came and assessed our water damage claim. They were extremely thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They also totally understood our unique situation where we weren’t able to start the most of the work right away. We had water damage caused by our sump pump and our insurance company arranged for Belfor Property Restoration in Collingwood to contact us. Matt Lougheed called and arrived to our home immediately taking pictures of the whole basement as damage was throughout. Matt explained what would take place in the next few days of their services. A team of staff arrived the following day logging all items going into storage, a dumpster arrived on site, removing of all laminate flooring, Carpeting, damaged drywall were removed. Garbutt Construction acted as the representative of our insurance company when a bear ruined our above-ground Waterloo Biofilter septic treatment system. Trevor Jay represented the company professionally and took care of our needs for a quick, high quality repair. The system took some time to arrive from the manufacturer but Trevor was with us every step of the way to get things done properly and without any wasted time.

All of the employees were very courteous, considerate and competent. The project manager, Rob Walker and Kent Gray, the project supervisor, were excellent and worked together to get the project done in a professional and timely manner.. Evan was a perfectionist who didn’t give up until the ceiling looked brand new and Adam worked very hard as an apprentice, carpenter, helper. The setup crew, Will N. and Cole, were excellent.
