I had such a bad experience. The company does not care about customers. They are not trained and experienced enough to make decisions in the homeowners, best interest. I experienced arrogance, incompetence, and a complete inability to accept that the homeowner may have a better idea or plan The ego and arrogance that was presented from Bell for representative is disgusting. I’m quite happy when Kevin came here and he clarified everything that need to be done in my basement regarding the sewer back up. Belfor crew show up very quick and emergency work was completed very quick. Please advise to Belfor, Kevin is a very good project manager, I had a flood in 2014 and was hard to get information with previous projects Manger. Just a phone call Kevin provided all information and I’m bless that I had a project Manager like Kevin in my house
Kevin Poomen is the BEST project manager! So kind during a difficult time. He explained everything and kept in touch with updates. Coordinating crews is not an easy task in Alberta today and Kevin was always available to answer questions and provide reassurance.
With having house insurance claim for the first time ever in my life, the whole claim process was very overwhelming. My project manager at Belfor was patient with all my questions and concerns. The whole process was done in a timely matter with only minor set backs. The only recommendation I would make it have some sort of booklet to give homeowners regarding what to expect during insurance claims. It would very helpful for homeowners during this stressful time.
This was an absolute disaster from the start. The project manager, James, was difficult to communicate with and would provide false information. Trying to get help from the office was rewarded with promises to call that were never done. It was a clean water flood in a townhome basement. It took weeks for Balfor to get the area dry enough to repair, then James blamed the stall in repairs starting because the insurance would not approve his quote for repair costs.
