Darren and the team at BELFOR Halifax were great to work with. It's one thing to deliver excellent service when the project is easy but the real marks come when it's difficult. My property repair had many complications including timing and geographic location. Darren was communicative, helpful and always delivered his best. When I spoke with the insurance company I was left hanging and unsure of when anything was going to progress. When I spoke with Darren I felt confident that things were getting done and done well.

Happy to recommend BELFOR Property Restoration after they replaced my roof following storm damage. Was a slow start (which seems to be the norm these days) but I was very pleasantly surprised by Belfor's management team who were quick to address any concerns or issues I had. I was left feeling that customer satisfaction is definitely their first priority. Thank you once again to Darren and his team.

Belfor Property Restorations was amazing to deal with. Our house was damaged significantly by hurricane Fiona and unfortunately our insurance company did not have a large customer base on the East Coast, so we were left on our own to find our own contractors. We called around to everyone we could find on Google. Every one was booked solid, even Belfor, but they heard our desperation and took us on as clients. This is our insurance company’s preferred vendor and so as a larger company we assumed they would operate to a higher standard. Unfortunately, the work they completed on our relatively minor basement reno after a small flood was rushed and sloppy. We had just refinished the basement prior to the flooding incident, so their poorly completed drywall and trim work are blatantly obvious. 2 years of broken promises and excuses. And things are still not done. They have some problems with retention, also even worse, a problem with working when they say they will. Almost everytime I call for an update there's no answer. If it's not one excuse it's another. Such a bad rep for lack of doing anything. I'm not sure if anyone holds them accountable.
