Originally I was going to give a positive review as at the beginning when Belford came out to assess the damages they were helpful and communicated. Once the floor was ordered we kept getting told it would be done by certain day and it didn’t they finally came ( we had to keep checking with them on date and time and even then they showed up 2 hours after) and they didn’t finish the job in a day as we were told and we will possibly waiting a couple days for them to come back and finish the job. Highly do NOT recommend using this company. Our issues with flooding in our basement occurred ALMOST A YEAR AGO. We have yet to receive the thousands of dollars in insurance money owed to us for the jobs they didn’t finish and the carpet we had to purchase (because of the incredibly unorganized untimely work). If they filed a claim to our insurance incorrectly, I am so incredibly confused to why we are suffering. My husband calls twice weekly with ZERO RESOLUTION. We started off using a local "Disaster Company" which was not professional at all. We switched to Belfor and were very happy with their responsiveness, timeliness, and overall professionalism. They did good work and we'll go to them first if we ever need to again.
We should be able to leave ZERO stars. They did a terrible, half-A$$ed job of mitigating water damage to and under my flooring. They claim they finished, but @2.5 weeks in, I just found more water under the flooring they refused to remove, saying their meter showed no moisture. Just steer clear of these clowns.
The personnel at this office take pride in helping people get back on their feet as quickly as they can when their home has damage. They care for their customers and are preferred with all insurance carriers.
