My wife and I recently had a summer home constructed by Belfor, St. John’s, NL. This was a custom build of our dream cottage and I was allowed access to the property at all times during construction. The project manager, Steve Pike, was very pleasant to deal with. He was on site throughout the building of the property and was an active participant in the construction process. We started working with several contractors and they all ended up being unreliable and copped out (thankfully before they started). That's when we heard about and turned to Belfor, and we are so glad we did. They were just great to work with. Eric was very responsive and was always there to answer my dozens of questions. He and the team he sent were communicative the whole way about what was happening. We had a crew of Mike and Ray show up to perform a deep clean / biohazard cleaning at a property where someone had passed away. Mike and Ray impressed our staff with not only the quality of their work but with their demeanor, empathy, and kindness. Their professionalism and humanity made a huge impact on our team during a trying, difficult time.

Belfor was hired by my insurance company to do some repairs of my house following a forest fire. At first the contractor assigned to my file was non-responsive and provided timelines that he never kept. However as soon as Belfor realized this, they assigned a new project manager that went above and beyond to rectify the issues. To me that is the true sign of a professional company, not one that does not make mistakes, but one that rectifies quickly and effectively its mistakes. We had a great experience with Belfor : one call to Justin and he arranged fast service ; Sean Hickey came out with Mathew Elliot. Sean worked hard and fast, never took a break,was personable, helpful, professional, really big support. Mathew helped him out, was friendly and full of hints, a great team. They really got the job done and left no mess, we highly recommend them.
