I thought this company would be promising considering the good reviews. My insurance chose this company to handle content removal, baseboard installation, and content return after my condo had water damage. Initially the content removal and baseboard installation was really good, however, when it came to putting the contents back in they had a really hard time scheduling. Five stars to me means greatly exceeding expectations. In my opinion, Belfor did just that. After experiencing a flood in our basement due to a back up in our stormwater system, our insurance company contacted Belfor for emergency services. They quickly packed up our belongings and filled three pods that were placed on our driveway. Unfortunately, our flooring consisted of asbestos tiling so we needed hazardous abatement work done. No star, or even minus star! Only showed up 4 days, and worked only 10-20 mins each day to cut around 3x6 drywall and the carpet underlay . But charged 18.5 hours ($2.8k) because the charge was starting from leaving of the company?! And also 2 or 3 people work hours, but only 1 guy worked. The other were watching?! This is a review just for the movers who took/returned my belongings, and the lovely cleaners Helen and crew who managed the repair. All my belongings were returned in the same condition they were taken, and Helen and crew put everything back in the same spot they found it! They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with their service. Highly recommend. I am still working with Belfor on getting the rest of my unit repaired from flood damage, and will update this review when completed.

Daniel was the best project manager ever. He was kind, patient, and helpful during the whole repair process. Almost all of the tradespeople that Belfor used were kind, courteous, and effective. We are very grateful that Daniel was our project manager. I would recommend him to anyone.
