I own a house that developed a mold problem after accidental flooding. My home insurance company selected Belfor to investigate and mitigate the mold. My tenant asked for experienced technicians but instead got untrained people who did a lousy job and ended up spreading the mold and requiring a complete decontamination treatment of one house level, making it uninhabitable for most of a year. The team stayed with our water damage mitigation, coming back several times until the moisture readings in our floor and ceiling were lowered into normal range. Noteworthy was Cody's creation of a plastic "tent" to direct the dehumidifier output to select areas of the floor and ceiling that needed special attention. What a Nightmare! 2 guys came covered in mud from previous job; brand new hires from Belfor to deal with mold mitigation ( hired by insurance). I called to request experienced employees and was yelled at, "If you want us to do this job, these are the guys we have to do it.". Sample that they cut from drywall at beginning confirmed mold, so they came back for demo and they took pictures to send to their supervisor as they went because they didn't know what needed to be done or how to do it.
