ASOLUTLY THE WORST RENTAL EVER!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They sent me a 30’ electric boom lift with a battery that lasted less than 30 minutes. The unit was smoking from the engine compartment and making popping and knocking noises. It did not feel safe to operate, so I refused to use it. Despite delivering unsafe equipment, they would not credit any of the rental fees. If you want reliable equipment and professional service, go somewhere else.
Only reason I’m giving a one is because I cannot give zero! My husband and I flew from CA to TX because we had to get a hangar door off a semi truck! We reserved two 5k pound forklifts to be delivered before 0700 October 30! We said “THEY HAVE TO BE HERE BY 0700, the truck driver has three more deliveries after ours!” They assured us they would be there the night before or by 0700. I rented a 26 foot scissor lift which arrived about 6 hours early, so, I began using it immediately. Three hours later, the steering and the outriggers malfunctioned. It was rendered useless. I called Big Rentz and a service tech came within an hour. He couldn't repair it without replacement parts so, he returned the following morning. About an hour later it was functioning as designed. We rented a lift for a project in NY - unfortunately the lift wasn’t functioning properly upon delivery, but the Bigrentz team helped find a solution. Mark T, the general operations manager we were in touch with, was understanding, helpful, and prompt in working with us to right the situation, and made sure we’d be in good shape for the next rental we had lined up!
Horrendous customer service. Paid over 1k for a scissor lift rental for 1 day. First they send the wrong scissor lift. They said they will have a new one on site in 2 days. Wasn't delivered despite being told it was. Again they tell me a new one will be delivered. I told them multiple times to inform me when its delivered. Contact them at 6am day of asking if delivery was made. No one contacts me for 6 hours. Now they are fighting me because I want a refund. Every person I spoke to was from another country as well.
