The install was great - tech was knowledgeable and professional and the person who came back to bury the cable was also great. The service has been very reliable and fast, as well as much more affordable than the main competitor in Sioux Falls. Highly recommend!
Got a fibre unit installed earlier today and I'll tell ya I aint super happy as of now, the wifi works decent but it wont provide internet to my doorbell, which upon a costumer service call they want me to pay and extra $6 a month for a second unit to extend service. On top of that they guys who installed the unit drilled the hole exactly where I said not to. Extremely dissatisfied. It is a holiday and the service has been down for six hours. I have tried troubleshooting manually and it didn’t work. Every time you call the customer support it gives you an option to reboot by sending a signal and when you push 1 for yes it sends you to the billing department. It says nobody will be in till monday and its Friday night. The got me to switch to their service by telling me “you get what you pay for.” Well atleast optimum had support you could reach 24 hours. Installation was a breeze, connection speeds are top notch with fiber internet and so far everything has been rock solid. You can use your own equipment or use the eero box they have. A huge bonus is the fact that the price is locked in for life. No rate increases ever.
I got to experience bluepeak today but in the wrong way. Their rag tag fiber crew came to our neighborhood to install fiber (we already have AT&T , cox and some other providers available) not a big deal. However, their fiber crew cut into preexisting fiber … after having a weeks worth of people come out to do locates. So the entire neighborhood is without internet.
