Got some terrible and selfish news yesterday. Ryan a representive from Brightways. I had called and left a message that why was Brightways not taken telehealth. I contact Pacific Source my Medicare carrier, and they said YES we do cover telehealth. So when I spoke with Ryan he said that Brightways has decided not to take my telehealth (even though I only do it when the weather is bad because I am a senior and don't drive in the snow.). I started both individual and couples therapy with Anita at the end of May of 2025. This may be the most positively effective influence on my day-to-day life that I’ve ever experienced. Preface: I have not met any of the therapists. I'm finally trying to get in contact with a therapist after being raised with a huge stigma against mental health. Went to the building just to enter a tiny room with a bathroom and a sign in tablet. Looks very bleak already, wanted to talk about how things work and get scheduled.
