I came here yesterday and seeked for opening business account for my company. I have work permit and legally staying here, but they rejected to open for me due to immigration status. The next day I go to another bank and open account smoothly. The other bank considers me as resident alien because I have work permit and SSN.

They are not funding oil drilling off of the coast of Florida or other environmentally detrimental projects. It is a privately held bank. It is perfect for business or personal accounts.
