Very disappointing. When I heard about Climate First Bank, I thought I had found my dream bank. I love what they stand for and their rates are exceptional. I've tried twice now to open an account online but have been unable to do so because they cannot confirm my identity. I have followed up repeatedly by calling customer service and have never gotten through - "we are experiencing a high call volume." I've sent emails and left messages on their customer service recording to no avail. I'm sure my experience would be complet... read more
I do not recommend bothering with their "digital" services. Maybe they're great for local banking, but I still have no idea what happened with the ach transfer I requested to fund the cd account I opened. They provided no documentation for the account and have no terms available online. The "secure messaging" has been useless, and I just hope they follow the written instructions I sent them to close the account. 0/10
New customer who feels a good bank is one I never need to go to or speak with. I have already needed to speak with Climate First. Additionally, I feel their website, at least for business banking, is not very user friendly.
It's shocking that this entity is allowed to call itself a "bank"... RESPONSE to reply 4 days later: Oh great - one of the email addresses that's been ignoring me - how helpful... To be fair I did email it again, let's see what, if anything, happens now. Oh-and that reply? Blah blah blah... This is no longer relationship building - it's damage control.
