I have been banking with them for a couple of months and Nick B. has been outstanding with helping me understand all the amenities and rules with the different accounts offered here. Setting up an account was simple. It can all be done on-line but since we live nearby we stopped in at the Eustis location and talked with Kyle. He was very helpful getting information about a Home Equity Line of Credit. The business model of this bank makes me feel good about doing business with them. The fantastic rates they offer make it an easy choice to bank with Climate First.
I had a wonderful experience during my first visit to open an account. Ingrid Soto was a pleasure to work with; she was professional, welcoming, and efficient. The entire staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. I especially appreciated their willingness to accommodate me without an appointment. I became a customer of Climate First in May 2025. I had been aware of the harmful effects of traditional banking for some time but it took me a while to find a bank that was a) mission-driven (i.e. did not fund the fossil fuel industry), b) offered competitive rates and c) provided good customer service. I found this in Climate First. Highly recommend Climate First for all of the above reasons. It's so nice to sleep at night knowing that my money is not destroying the planet!
I like small banks that deliver personal attention and that's what Climate First has delivered so far. Wire transfers, issues with online transactions were all handled by the same person at my local branch. Something your hard pressed to find at so many businesses this day.
