I really dislike leaving poor reviews, especially since I have liked this practice in the past. My recent review is due to the new AI scheduling service they have in place. I called multiple times, left a few messages, and still haven’t heard back. The AI was not able to process my request properly. I know if it happened to me it probably happened to other patients as well. Nonetheless I have moved on to another local dermatologist, but hoping this review helps them fix the AI system they are using.

I had high hopes with this practice based on reviews but I am very upset with how this practice handles things. I just got a call (4:20PM) canceling my appointment for tomorrow (1:20PM). I waited week and took off work for this appointment. It is very difficult for me to get days off of work as I also work in healthcare. I would understand if the doctor had an emergency or was sick but the women on the phone stated “I don’t know what’s going on either. I am just doing what management told me” Very upsetting.

I had the pleasure of meeting Coyle Connolly himself in person! He was extremely disrespectful and racist towards me. I thought that since he wrote a book about black skin he would be the perfect advocate/company to help me with my skin issues. But when I met with him at one of the offices he kept hinting towards the fact that I would not be able to afford to pay for the the treatment. I met with the PA, Julian Gee and I had a very pleasant interaction. I had traction alopecia for months and her treatment began growing my hair within the first 24 hours. She answered all my questions and concerns concisely and is truly a big help!

I once again had a seamless experience at Connolly Dermatology. The staff were professional and friendly. I had no wait time and the full body exam went extremely well. Shane Courtney did a great job, as did two others assisting him. They were very communicative and thorough. Overall, I had an excellent experience as usual.
