I have been out of town for the past 3 months. My water bill been shooting up since July. It went from 3000g in June to 15000 in July till this month bill. I made it home this week. I was curious so, I looked at my water meter. To see how accurate these bills were. My water meter isn’t even on. So, am led to believe that they just been charging me an insane amount since. I don’t believe water bill should be the same amount now than my summer bills. My irrigation system hasn’t been on since late September.

Considering I rent the home I am in and receive service from the city yet I received a notice letting me know my water would be shut off if I didn’t pay $150 plus an app fee of $15 I can only assume that this company is absolutely a scam and preys on those who know no better- aka the elderly and uninformed. My next stop will be the BBB in hopes that enough people who are aware of their services aren’t replying to a company who lists “unknown” as the account owner

I've been living in my home for over a year, and this past month, my bill was $100 higher than usual. When I called to inquire, they claimed it was due to a leak. However, we didn't have any visible leaks on the property. I asked why they didn't notify us about this issue during the meter reading, and the representative agreed they should have. Instead, she suggested that I monitor the meter myself moving forward. So, the solution they've proposed is that I take responsibility for monitoring my own meter. In my previous exp... read more

I have had many clients apply for utilities, when doing so it is made to look like a representative is to reach out, only for an email to go directly into SEVERAL clients' junk mail. They have had their water shut off due to that and I can't imagine this is the only process a utility company has for people who need water services. When calling in, they told me "We cannot control that it goes to their junk email" .... Maybe come up with a better process for this? It seems very lazy & you are making them pay to turn their wate... read more

Not sure where to start here, and it's not like it matters because they are the provider for the Elgin area and they know it. These people sent me in circles for weeks, leaving my mother without trash bins for two months. They are rude, their billing portal is a nightmare and they make it so hard to pay your bill online. They will only waive one late fee (even though their system makes it nearly impossible to pay your bill via plaid authorization.) There is also a service fee just to pay your bill if you opt for CC payment t... read more
