I wonder if this place is very subjective... We have been here three times and each time we bring more cans and we get less$$. It's my nine-year-old who saved enough cans to fill a 55 gallon garbage bag. He received $1.50 today for all of those cans. The guy was frustrated that the dog cans and pop/soda cans were mixed. Another thing to note: I don't speak Spanish, so when the two workers are talking to each other in Spanish and giggling while looking at us, I have no idea what they're saying. I use to come here all the time but after today never again I had cooper #2 only a pounds worth but the guy threw it to the side never weighed it and I had yellow brass at berh metal yesterday was offered 2.10 a lb but I decided 2 wait and see what these guys offerd dumb move on my part cuz these guys gave me a 1.00 and also tried saying what I had was lead and I know it was Cooper after having them scratch it it was Cooper like I said. Have been. going to Crystal Lake for years. Since opened what I have to say the crew that is in place now and from the last year or 2 is the best. I've ever encountered in the industry. Very honest and up front.
