The parking lot had broken glass near the gate. The room wasn’t properly cleaned. Prior customer had rose petals all over the floor. The shower wasn’t clean. Front desk was informed and wasn’t apologetic and had me wait while they cleared the lobby. Housekeeping cleaned the shower and apologized. I did appreciate housekeeping. The breakfast was amiss I didn’t even bother to come down the following day. I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites San Antonio Airport, and the standout highlight of the experience was easily the complimentary breakfast - genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. They feature a made-to-order egg bar with an extensive selection of options, including a daily special chicken fajita omelette that was absolutely phenomenal. The place was nice, I didn’t like you had to pay $11 a day for parking. The AC was only luke cool and I didn’t sleep with a blanket or sheet on. The maintenance guy said the chiller was supposed to deliver 44F water and was only delivering 55F which made the air not as cool coming out and the room warmer, he also said it was old. I only stayed one night instead of 4 because of it. Then the company I paid for parking wouldn’t refund the additional 3 days I paid for but didn’t use.

We had a great staycation. The hotel was close to all the San Antonio attractions. The room and the hotel were clean. The staff were super friendly. The omelettes were amazing. The only disappointment was that they charged for parking but it was only $10/day, so it wasn't too bad. I would definitely recommend this Embassy Suites.

Overall good, but a few issues. First room I was assigned was extremely musty smelling. Asked for a different room. This one still smelled a little bit musty but was tolerable. The biggest issue was that the AC was largely ineffective and never could get it to a reasonable temperature. It consistently remained in the low to mid 70s despite being set at 65.
