I cannot l recommend Dr. Gavino enough! From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Gavino is the best dermatologist out there. I was so fortunate to be recommended to him and I couldn't be happier with my care. He is so warm and professional. He takes his time with you and answers all your questions. Dr. Gavino and his staff are very upfront regarding payment. My experience with Doctor Gavino was BY FAR the best experience I’ve had with a dermatologist. I’ve been struggling with an issue for years, and he confidently diagnosed it and provided a plan of action to get it treated. Honestly, the medical care aside though, he was personally exceptionally compassionate, and patient. I’ve had past experiences where a doctor saw me for 10 minutes, didn’t even look at my skin issue, and walked me out the door. Complete opposite experience here, I can’t recommend him enough.
I’ve seen Dr. Gavino before and was always happy with his care. I wasn’t satisfied with other places I tried after he left his old practice, so I was really glad to find out he now has his own office. My visit was excellent—he’s just as thorough and professional as ever. The office itself is also very nice and tastefully decorated. I’ll be recommending him to my husband and anyone looking for a good dermatologist.
Dr. Gavino is a nice person. Very professional and encouraging. Some problems with my visit were: I had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time to see Dr. Gavino which tells me he may be overbooked and the cost of uninsured patient is on the higher end the me(~$250). Overall I would say it was a nice experience meeting with Dr. Gavino but make sure you verify if your insurance would cover the cost yourself instead of relying on their billing team to avoid the problem I had.
