Had the carburetor professionally installed in my 1987 Monte carlo. Supposedly a original equipment reman. Ran once since picking up from garage. Now has been a yard ornament. Not even the garage can get it running again. 15 return period is up. I am very disappointed in the product. Wasted $367 on this carb plus garage fees. Noww have to find a new carb from a different company. Really had high hopes based on the reviews.
Great carb even though a vacuum fitting got slightly damaged in shipping , but we were able to fix it. But we sent our core back but have yet to see our redund and it's been a month or more.

I recently purchased a "Chinese Quadrajet" for around $150 new and installed it on my 78 GMC 350. I couldn't get it to idle right, at all. So after about a week I decided to go with the original Rochester Quadrajet but didn't want to break the bank. I found Guaranteed Carburetors on line and the price was about $100 more for a quality rebuilt Quadrajet.
