We paid over 1k for a wine club membership at the wine collection. All corks of this winery have broke and destroyed the quality of the wine. We live just north of Boston and get most California state every region wine. Craft, small and big. Don't sign up for the scam of wine collection near Pier 39 in san fran. My wife and I literally travel the world for wine and vacation and have been part of field recordings since the start. If you were looking for something off the beaten path that’s also extremely special this is your Winery!This family run Vineyard has spectacular Cabs and Zinfandels. We met the owner, his son and the wine maker at a tasting event in the Presidio this year. Out of all the winery at that event, HowellMountain Vineyards stood out to us. Again they did not disappoint at the Krug Winery Howell Mountain tasting event this summer. This winery is worth the drive! I’m looking forward to visit with them again! Debra M
