My IRS / FTB tax forms are pretty basic. Nothing fancy. In the past I was paying $400 at Jill's (and knew it was probably too high, but ... just to be sure). This year I was quoted $750. My forms and pretty clear cut, nothing fancy. I decided to go to an AARP volunteer in the area. The supervisor couldn't believe I was quoted $750.
