Not very well maintained. Rental office has been convicted of taking money orders and the office is saying that they were prosecuted and convicted. Sewer lines backed up in the parking lots and had to call the city to get them involved because nothing was done. Alot of other apartment complexs close so if your looking I would look for a place with a better track record.

This complex has the best managers I could ask for. Roxanna has been the biggest help with my transition to this new complex. Due to an underlying issue upon moving in I was immediately transferred to this complex and I am not disappointed. Roxanna has been very quick to prevent issues, fix one immediately, and ensure it doesn't happen again. 7 years I have lived here at Lakewood and just renewed today early. I love the vibe our new property manager, Roxana sends out . She is always friendly and helpful and welcoming. I enjoy going into the office. Great customer service.

I just moved in January of this year. There has been a change in management since I first started looking at this complex (last fall), and it’s definitely been an improvement! The woman I had been dealing with was at times rude and never really communicative during my application process. The new manager, though, is always courteous and helpful. As a 3 year resident of Lakewood Square apartments, and a 10 year resident of VIrginia Beach resident, this is a great place to call home. Roxanna is a personable and professional property manager. She and the maintenance team are efficiently responsive. Highly recommended place to live.
