I sent mark an email asking him to look at some photos of Navajo rugs to identify for authenticity. Got a response within 12 hours from someone whom I am sure is quite busy , so thank you mark and Megan for getting back to me so quickly . Amazing

I reached out to them for advice / help with a belt that I've been curious about for a long time and I was so surprised that not only did they reply quickly but they agreed to help me figure out this piece from AZ ( I'm in Cali) I was expecting a cold reply as good customer service is rare now and everyone wants to be paid for everything. I have been following Medicine Man Gallery on Instagram. He has always seemed to me to be a kind thoughtful person caring about the items he describes in his posts. I recently won a serape at auction for $47. It was so unusual I spent a good amount of time googling images to try and learn about it. Only finding a handful of similar serapes I reached out to Mark to see what he thought.. He quickly replied, "This is a called an aggregate Saltillo Serape, value if in excellent condition is $2500 and dates from the 1880-90’s." ... read more

I recently had come into owning a Navajo weaving. I decided to do some research and after watching videos with Dr. Mark Sublette at the Medicine Man Gallery I was convinced he was the person I should contact. I went ahead and emailed him with a brief description and attached a photo of the weaving and in less than 2 hours I had a response from Dr. Mark himself. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. If I could give six stars, I would have. Thanks Mark

Charles from The Medicine Man was a wonderful, knowledgeable guy! I got the name from Red Cloud in St Pete, Fl in regards to some Native American rugs that were ruined in Hurricane Helene that my father owned. I needed someone to identify them and let me know their worth so that I could submit to insurance. He was super prompt with his answer and it was greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
