One year ago today, I underwent a life-changing laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Rosenfield and his team at the Pearl Women’s Center. After 3.5 years of infertility, three rounds of IVF, multiple frozen embryo transfers, and one miscarriage, I was emotionally exhausted. I had nearly given up hope. I had my surgical consultation in November and was able to get booked for January, only six weeks out. My surgery and experience that day were excellent, I wouldn't change a thing. My pre and post op appointments with Kristin, PA met my needs. I also have seen Brittany, NP in the clinic for some separate issues. The whole staff is pleasant, attentive, and professional. An amazing experience. During my appointments, they checked in with me frequently. Gave me answers in a clear manner, and respectful, no matter how silly my questions were. No issues when I asked for a cervical block. Every single person I spoke with was kind and understanding. Will get my IUD here again.
Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with the Pearl Women’s Center. I went in for my consultation and booked my procedure appointment right then, paid $1000 to secure to date. Due to a family emergency I had to cancel my procedure and needed the funds back to assist my daughter with a difficult moving situation. I explained all of this to the office staff, they stated I’d get the refund within 2 weeks, nothing for a whole month. I first found Dr. Rosenfield through a list of experts who specialize in treating endometriosis, and I’m so glad I did. He did my surgery to remove endometriosis in 2019, and I returned to the Pearl Women’s Center when I was ready for a hysterectomy to treat my adenomyosis in 2025.
