I have never had a complaint about this place before. They have always been quick and friendly. However, last night I took myself and my oldest son in because we both were feeling really sick and he had stayed home from school and was running a fever. My youngest son had a positive Covid test here on 9/7 and was still quarantined. So, to be safe we went in. I am posting on my husbands email, because for some reason mine will not work. This ER is awesome, outstanding, and very professional. I was very impressed. They took very good care of me and they are the most empathetic people I’ve ever met in the hospital system. I have been here three times And there is barely a waiting time at all. This was my second visit here. Both times I had amazing care. Staff very professional. Great nurses and ancillary staff. Radiology etc. Doctors are exceptional. It’s too bad hospitals are not run like like this facility. I had a 23 hour observation here recently because I was very ill. Dr. Holland was so caring and kind. He always took the time to explain everything that was going on. And took the time to teach/educate on procedures and treatments. We are lucky to have this facility in our area. Take advantage. Went in due to my 1year old cutting her finger,i was in such a panic. However,from the moment i arrived the receptionist was so kind and warm and within 5minutes we were in a room, the nurse was also kind and very compassionate. Our doctor was dry but empathetic and as gentle as possible. Neither one of the employees seemed frustrated with the crying of our child instead they tried to calm her and explained the process to her even if she didn't understand. I brought my wife in after she had been experiencing abdominal pain for the past 36 hours. We were brought back within 5 minutes of arriving. Our nurse Tom was fantastic with an awesome bedside manner and great IV skills (he was later replaced by Phillip, who was also phenomenal). Dr Ndi was sensational. He listened to my wife’s symptoms, my concerns, and ordered the appropriate tests. Within 2 hours, we had bloodwork, urinalysis, IV fluids with prophylactic antibiotics and CT all done.
