Ms. Shawanda (property manager) was stellar during the signing process. The unit itself was affordable and good looking. Everything was functional and easy to use. Any and all questions were answered, and if she didn't have the immediate answer, she always got back to us.

I've lived here for 3 years, its not a bad place, but what is bad is the property manager Shawanda Williams, I pay my rent on time every month, and I've never experienced a property manager that hates good paying customers as much as Shawanda Williams, she has no regard or care for the customers she is supposed to be taking care of, via her salary from UPA. I have lived here for 6 years, and I can say that I do not enjoy living here. The apartments are old and very out of date. 75% of the outlets in my apartment won't hold a plug. There are water stains on my ceiling. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbors easily. In these six years, this property has had six different property managers. The only reason they are even getting one star is because I have to. This place has been nothing but a nightmare. I have had nonstop issues with the HVAC, I have had multiple leaks and water damage, everything has literally been falling apart since the day I moved in, the blinds were literally taped up when I moved in and the carpet smelled. There is no grace period with rent. They are quick to slap on fees but never answer calls or do their job. Under the new Management of Shawanda Williams and Maintenance I have experienced nothing put the upmost professional service within the last 4 months! Shawanda and maintenance is absolutely amazing! My request(s) are handled promptly and in a timely manner and everything is done in order and professionally! Shawanda and Maintenance personnel makes residing at Rosegate Apartments much pleasant experience! 😁
