First of all I placed this order on April 27th. It is May 13th and I just now got my order. The condition they came in was horrendous! Most of my muffins are squished. I know they put “fragile” on the box, however maybe they should have packaged this a little better. Oh and when I didnt receive my order after 10 days. I sent an email about it and never received a response. I spent over $100 on this product!! Totally unacceptable!!!

Orders are taking longer and longer and I live 30 minutes from Deland, FL. My orders have also been arriving with damaged boxes and melted product. I’ve been a long time smart baking customer but if there was another company offering something similar I would definitely switch at this point. I placed my order 9/1/25 and today is 9/7 and still no shipping information available. So it will be at least another 5 days once actually shipped.

I’m so sad that you’ve closed shop. I tell everyone about these- they’re amazingly. Honestly, I bought some hostess cupcakes recently not having had any in a while and literally cut one into quarters and didn’t think it was as good as SmartCakes. I gave the rest of the box away because I would rather have smartcakes and get 2 that I like for fewer calories than one hostess cupcake. They used to ship their buns frozen which was great for keeping them fresh. I don't know why they changed this, but they arrived unfrozen in a box this time. They arrived with mold on them. So gross and ridiculous given how expensive they are.

After receiving the vanilla flavor from Amazon recently, I noticed that both the texture and flavor had changed. The cakes seemed greasier and had less of the vanilla taste I remembered. Following that order, I decided to purchase directly from the company's website in the hopes of getting the original recipe vanilla cakes I enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case either. I really hope they return to the original recipe.
