My family and I have visited St. Luke’s Health- Pasadena Emergency Center multiple times, and every single experience has been exceptional. One visit was for my toddler’s ear infection, and another was for my mother’s severe knee pain. On each occasion, we felt genuinely heard, cared for, and treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Bittersweet experience. The ladies at the front desk at the major hospital very unprofessional. I had ask for assistance ,and instead of helping me they laughed. I left in pain barley able to walk. Came back to 24/7 emergency and doctor Herrera has the worst beside manner. Thinks everyone is a druggie and yell at you like he knows your on drugs. Came in for heat complications and dehydration and he kept saying it's not that hot so it can't be that, until test were done and I was damn near kidney failure. Attitude changed. P... read more

Never wanna be that person, but this place has terrible service. As someone who isn’t feeling well, they don’t attend to you with urgency and they don’t seem to care about their patients!! Called to see what has happening, and I got the question of “well, what do you want me to do!?” I wanted to know why no one had gone to give my mom the meds for the allergic reaction she got out of no where with her tongue swollen and they still had 0 urgency to attend her! Do not recommend this place! My 2 yr old granddaughter came with shortness of breath, it was the closest ER. The doctor was so rude, making comments like “if she was a mom she’d go to a children’s ER” my daughter felt judged and asked if she should just leave? So you recommend a single mom with a 2yr old having trouble breathing to sit in a car seat in the back while her mom drives 30 minutes away to a children’s hospital, on a Saturday night at midnight on Memorial Day weekend? The care you receive here is high quality, patient centered care! The staff, Sonia, Bonnie, and Dr Tran listened to my health concerns and treatment was started immediately. I felt safe and well cared for during my stay at St Luke’s ER.
