Assistance up front was awesome, I had plenty of questions and worked out a way to do a will-call rather than spend $1k+ for shipping around 2 hours north of their home base. I rebuilt a shared family house on Cape Cod several years ago. It had a long deck that overlooked a salt marsh with a distant view of the ocean. It was important to not take away the view from the deck as well as inside looking out past the deck. I did some research as to what type of railing I wanted. I submitted a plan of my exiting deck. Within a day I received a suggested plan to move forward and complete the deck with the cable system. We double checked everything and a few weeks later received all the equipment I needed. I was sure i was going to be short something, that it was too easy so far. But it all went so well, I had everything I needed right to the end. Great company to work with. The quality is beyond excellent. Not sure what they could do to improve anything.

I replaced a wood rail with the stainless cable & aluminum posts. I sent SCR a schematic of my deck with what I wanted and they put together what I needed. I had everything I needed and installed it myself (with help from the boyfriend ;). My deck is over 50', two levels, and lots of angles. I was very happy with the instructions and how the system went together. I LOVE MY RAILING!! Designed my own and bought all my parts at SC&R. Worked perfectly and as advertised. My brother liked my deck railing so much I sent him the link and he got all his parts from SC&R as well.

I live in Scotland and recently completed a hardwood deck with stainless wire balustrade. I decided it would look a lot more aesthetically pleasing if the holes in the newel posts had stainless steel hole protectors/trim. The items I envisaged were not available in the UK but after a global search I found exactly what I needed in Canada, courtesy of Stainless Cable and Railing. We hired them to provide stainless steel railing materials for my custom deck railing project. They were professional, fairly priced and even showed me ways to more efficiently build my railing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
