We stayed at one of their properties for the first time this year in Hatteras due to the beach erosion in Buxton. We had a wonderful experience. The house was spotless and exactly as described.The location was great. The communication from check-in to checkout was awesome. The dryer didn’t seem to be working they sent someone out that day to fix it. The welcome bag was great at arrival! We rebooked for next year and cannot wait to go back. Overall, we had an exceptional experience with the crew at Surf or Sound Realty! ☀️
We stayed 2 weeks at Hatteras Comfort #1070 and although we loved our vacation in general, we were extremely disappointed with the maintenance and quality of this house (mind you, this is our 3rd time staying in this exact house in 5 years & never had many complaints until this year). my family rented sunset cay this past week, when looking for homes to rent we noticed this house was a hidden gem on the sound side. We loved the photos and were all so excited to arrive. Upon arrival we noticed the house was subpar, peeling paint, stained ceilings from the roof leaking, loose deck boards, trash around the bushes. Our family absolutely LOVED TIME & TIDE! It is now one of our favorites! Time & Tide is not only beautiful, it is SO MUCH COZIER with the house layout. The house was immaculate, extremely well stocked, great cookware, comfortable beds & furniture, and super nice bathrooms. Heated pool and steps to the beach!!! If you are looking for a reliable company for your beach vacation rentals, then look no further. Our family rented a home in Hatteras in October and we were beyond pleased. The local restaurants were amazing especially Hatteras Sol. Getting groceries was simple with the Red & White Market. We had a couple maintenance issues. They were promptly addressed by the team. We can’t wait for our next family vacation using Surf or Sound!
