My experience with my counselor, Shannon, was fantastic and helped me grow into myself as I navigate my 20s. Having someone to empathize and relate to both the big and small life trials was extremely helpful for me. Shannon always treated me with compassion, but also helped me see my struggles from an unbiased perspective. I would recommend Shannon to any young woman in her 20s.
Working with Shannon has allowed me to more effectively challenge and combat the issues that have plagued me for years. The combination of Shannon’s excellent counseling in conjunction with the help of my doctors has been positively life changing. I would highly recommend Shannon’s expertise to anyone who is willing to be challenged and seeking to improve themselves and their mental health circumstances.
Reading through other reviews, it's obvious that Shannon is a stellar counselor, and my review is no different. She is patient, kind, meets me where I'm at, challenges my thinking (in a good way), and does everything in her power to help me grow and overcome obstacles. It was an easy process to sign up and get matched with a counselor, which is half the battle sometimes. I have nothing but praise for Shannon and Symmetry Counseling.
From my initial call to schedule an appointment, to my weekly meetings with my counselor, Shannon... I have been so impressed with Symmetry Counseling. My counselor is amazing and thoughtful. They work with me and my schedule and are so flexible. And they truly listen and care about my well-being and desire to heal. I appreciate that I can choose to either have virtual appointments or in person. I am happy I found support with them!
