Been taking my child there for 8 years. Reaccuring medications are not filled in a timely manner. Had an appointment on the 5th for 3:15. Wasn't seen until almost 5pm. Only after I had to go up to the desk and ask why? Didn't get out of there until almost 6pm. Dr. Johnson did not discuss anything about my child's medications at that visit. Left 3 voice mails and finally talked to front desk, the nurse hot line that states "Will return calls within 24 to 48 hours", does not. I would not recommend this practice, especially for infants. My newborn daughter had a repeat newborn screening done at Henrico Doctors’ on 12/9/25, and the hospital confirmed results were sent to this office on 12/17/25 after I escalated to leadership. No one from the office contacted me about these time‑sensitive results; I had to call them myself on 12/17/25 to find out anything. They also refused to give me the NP’s NPI number, and when I looked it up myself, her NPI record hasn’t been updated since 5/11/23 when she was ... read more
Idk why the bad reviews. For urgent care, it was super fast. The doc we saw was fantastic. Obviously well educated, immediately knew what was going on and I could see that she cared and was actually taking time to think about what was best. (I wish that was ubiquitous to all docs but yall know it's not) I'm really glad to have found somewhere I feel comfortable taking my daughter.
Just move to the area and yes I won’t deny they do tell you to hold when you call but again they are a busy clinic and honestly not everything is a quickly as we want to. I did wait on hold for 2 min but when I finally spoke to someone they were extremely patient and helpful. The day of my actual appointment for my kids they did a last accommodation for my other child Waiting is normal and expected but once they get you seen and settle they are great. My kids felt comfortable the nurse Lesly from vaccination was great.
The front staff was very friendly and fast to help check me in. Amanda is always amazing with my boys and takes such great care of us. The phlebotomist was so quick but thorough and kept my son happy during his shots. Love this office
