Check-in was quick and effortless, and the front desk agent went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make me feel welcome. The hotel is brand new and beautifully designed. I absolutely loved the modern architecture and atmosphere. The room was the best hotel room I've ever slept in. It was quiet, spacious, incredibly comfortable, and had a beautiful view. I have no negatives about the hotel itself. There was nothing that happened that was less than exceptional. The rooms are well appointed, the bathrooms are spacious, and the amenities on the grounds are exceptional. The pool was one of the more enjoyable experiences my wife and I have had at any pool. It's cooled so it was exceptionally refreshing on a 100° day. Everything in this hotel has been thought about and that includes the outdoor showers and the wood flooring around the pool area. Okayyyy so…Monarch San Antonio was actually a good stay for our little family trip. We stayed one night with our two kiddos (2 & 4) in a two-bed room and everything felt super new, clean, modern, and just easy. Beth at the front desk was an angel and made us feel so welcomed from the start. BUT WAIT. This is the part that got me.
