I have been to many mental health professionals in my life and I have never felt so respected. I see Ryan and Kathleen and they are both very attentive and caring. They will challenge you in a way that's extremely helpful and they figure out what you need and provide it. I was honestly losing hope before I went to this group, but now I feel like I have a chance to live a normal life. I couldn't recommend them enough.
I’ve been a patient here for years. They’re incredibly difficult to communicate with, and have a lot of ridiculous and inflexible policies. Just a frustrating experience overall that I would not recommend to anyone.
I only met with Greta Thorkelson, so I can’t speak to the others at the practice, but if I could rate this less than 1 star off my experience with her, I would. She’s dismissive, extremely condescending, and I did not feel like she had my best interests in mind at all. I saw her for two visits without any clear plan for moving forward. She then recommended a third visit plus multiple costly bloodwork tests. Do yourself a favor and find another provider. This place just gives off a lot of red flags. They make you wait weeks/months for your intake form to be approved like you’re joining some kind of exclusive club. The first time I submitted a form I never even heard back. My NP was okay. It’s hard to be personable when the calls are so short. As others said, this place is a pill factory so calls will mostly focus on getting you on/off something. I was a patient at the Nexus group for over a year. I could not speak highly enough of the team here and Dr. Nicole Snyder, who was my direct provider. Always friendly, always professional, and always helpful across the board. I’d highly recommend the Nexus Group!
