When I first met Dr. Castillio in November 2023 for evaluation of a possible hernia, I immediately felt I was dealing with someone exceptional. I have an upcoming surgery with Dr. Castillo. This will be the second surgery that he will be doing for me. I went to him initially because he was highly recommended. I returned to him because the first surgery went well. I also find him easy to talk to, which, in my opinion, is an important part of a doctor/patient relationship.
MY HUSBAND HAD An umbilical HERNIA surgery.. Dr. Castillo did a fantastic job. Prior to surgery he examined and explained EVERYTHING to us in a manner we understood EVERYTHING he said. Within four days he was pain free, I was walking , standing and took a shower. My hubby now has a BEAUTIFUL belly button. The nurses were fantastic and took really good of my husband..
Dr Castillo is always thorough and answers all your questions. He takes his time to explain any procedure you may be having. Dr Castillo has operated in myself and other members of ny family.
I am a physician. I was referred to Dr. Castillo for inguinal hernia repair. As a fellow physician, I was impressed with the quality of care that he provided. He did not automatically assume that I understood everything about the upcoming surgery. His explanation was both accurate and detailed. Dr. Castillo and his staff were great. I had to have a scheduled gallbladder removal. Staff and doctor were very kind and excellent bedside manner. Years ago he repaired a hernia for me. I’d highly recommend Dr. Castillo and his staff.
Dr. Castillo and his staff are friendly, professional, experienced, credentialed, knowledgeable, skilled and helpful. Dr. Castillo is amazing. I found him after reading all of the great reviews when searching for my hernia repair. The moment I met him, I felt so comfortable and everything was explained. Office was friendly, Lisa was so nice. Everything went well from initial consult to the surgery. St. Joes was also amazing. If you are looking for the best, Dr. Castillo and his team are the best.
