After three other surgeons at Abrazo West (formerly west valley hospital) ignored my complaints of RLQ pain and admitted to the basement of their hospital for three days as my appendix ruptured and became gangrenous, I finally had a friend help me request a transfer to banner Estrella where I met Dr. Bokhari. I had a mass in my armpit removed and had a gallbladder removal surgery with Dr.Bokhari. She did an amazing job both times, she is a fantastic doctor. It was easy to talk to her about the why and how of the surgeries. I was in good hands, recovery was great checked in with her after both.

Great surgeon. Had my gallbladder removed by her and my down time was maybe at least a week. No complications. Everything went smoothly. Her care for her patients is excellent, she checked on me before I left the hospital and made sure everything was good before leaving. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends if ever needed because I know she would take great care of them.
First of all I can not say enough about my experience with Dr. Bokhari and her staff .I had my gallbladder removed being that this was my first surgery , I was anxious about having the whole process Dr. Bokhari was very professional, her bed side manners were outstanding from beginning to end ! she was very detailed in explaining surgery she took the time to answer all my questions I did not feel rushed at all. I had been having pain for 3 yrs off and on and had been to the hospital a few times and no one was able to find out what was going on. The last time I went to the ER Dr. Bokhari ordered a hida scan that showed that my gallbladder wasn't functioning well so she removed my gallbladder. If it wasn't for her taking that extra step and ordering the hida scan i would probably still be having those episodes. I am truly grateful for Dr. Bokhari and highly recommend her.
