This is a nice place to stay, but definitely shop around first and avoid anything near Athens GA during football season. The room had a very strong smell, but not a dirty smell. The room smelled as if they cleaned the room with sting chemicals and then locked the room tight for a week with no air circulation. The hotel used to be a Travelodge (sort of an inexpensive hotel), but they changed the name and charged way too much for the room. Definitely not worth $215. That's why it better to come to Commerce on game weekends so you get a better rate. We are sorry that you didn't like the smell of the room. The price of the room was not because we had a name change. All hotels in Athens and Commerce increase their price during football season. We appreciate you staying with us and we hope you stay with us again in the future.
It was above standard for the price I paid. It is so clean, the staff is very helpful! Other than the interstate noise it is very quite it’s a safe family-friendly area.

Everything else was ok My TV had no signal I called front desk she came to the room but couldn’t get it to work .. I had picked up some food from KFC and put it in the fridge and left the room for about 4 hours when I got back and got hungry I was getting my food out of the fridge it was not cold at all it was unplugged therefore I had to throw my food away it was ruined Nice location very clean pool and bathroom
