The school was very inclusive and accepting of my sons learning difference, he is dyslexic, which created confidence and built up his self image, the size of the school allowed my son to participate in whatever activities he chose.
Sport's are very popular and students have the opportunity to participate in any organization they are interested in.
Acceptance is connected to availability student numbers are determined by availability of space. Financial aid is a simple electronic application.
I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS SCHOOL! As the former front desk receptionist, I witnessed a fellow faculty member personally give the OK to let a maintenance worker who flagged as convicted predator into the campus building on the basis that it was "not christian" to turn him away. They do not prioritize your childrens saftey OR education. Pay premium for a public school, I will not recommend this schools, teacher quitting all the time, there is no consistency with their staff.
To start off this is school is extremely inconsistent, every year there are major changes to the staff, grading systems, dress code, and etc. The high school classes is bare minimum with very few options on what to pick and are very small. The teachers however, are not so bad. There are some teachers that genuinely want you to learn and then there are others that are either overly strict, or don’t know how to teach which I've come across many times. No transparency from leadership. Huge turnover rate among staff in High School. No standards to track student achievement, no accountability for teachers or support from Admin. 3 heads of school in 3 years doesn’t yield consistency or school culture.
