Dr Thakker was excellent from the first time I met her, right through my MOS surgery with her. Total professional who explains everything to you, makes sure you have all your questions answered and makes you feel comfortable at all times. Excellent doctor.
Outstanding care and accurate diagnosis. Took the time to explain everything.
The doctor and her staff made me feel very comfortable throughout my entire experience. From the conciliation to the procedure of my MOHs surgery. Of all my medical treatments. And I have had many, Dr. Thakker and her staff (every one of them) have been the most professional. I recommend them 110% to who ever needs the services that they provide.
Dr. Thakker is an excellent dermatologist--she helped diagnose my skin problem and was able to take care of it. She took the time to explain my problem and help me understand what was going on. I would recommend her highly to anyone with a skin problem.
I saw Dr. Thakker a while ago, and changing dermatologist was the best decision I ever made. She could have cared less about the moles on my body, even considering my history of skin cancers and atypical moles. In fact, after that appointment, I immediately made a new appointment at a different dermatologist, and when I saw them a few weeks later, the first thing they noticed was a atypical dangerous mole on my ear. With Dr. Thakker, she was so quick and she didn’t use her magnifying tool AT ALL. I asked why (because literal... read more

Was extremely dismissive felt very rushed to the point where I wasn’t finished expressing my concerns as she was walking out the door because of this I had even forgot to ask some important questions I have to find another doctor now as I still have the same ongoing issues
I engaged Dr. Thakker's services for a mole check. There was no communication as I was examined. A spot on my leg was marked w/o communicating with me. Had she asked, I would have told her the dark freckle was there since birth & hadn't changed in 60+years. When I asked the difference between a freckle & a mole to learn more, her response was "a lay person wouldn't be able to tell." My master's degree is in research, so I'm sure I raised an eyebrow. She said she would 'try to find something on it.' Without any conversation, ... read more
Horrible experience. Dr. Thakker has no empathy for her patients and is either incompetent or just doesn't care. Mohs is distressed to be a process of taking a layer at a time but like other examples here, she just dug a big hole out of my nose which she is incapable of repairing. My plastic surgeon was horrified at how deep and big the hole was and since I have another BCC on there other side of my nose it should have been done at the same time. But she refused because she's only get paid to do one. Greedy and awful. Going ... read more
