Woke up Christmas Eve AM with no heat. Tech Rob came out promptly and explained my options. Chose new unit so Tim and Devon secured unit and installed same day working straight thru till 6Pm to assure all was good. Great service, efficient and well done.
Adam was friendly and professional. He explained everything well. Altogether he did an outstanding job!

Emergency. Furnace went out overnight. Woke up freezing. Called G&R Heating. They (Adam), responded within one hour. Furnace couldn't be repaired - provided quote that was acceptable and accepted immediately. New furnace (and air conditioner) was installed within 4 hours. Total lapse of time from waking up to a cold house to new furnace (and air conditioner) was 5-1/2 hours. Excellent and superior customer service. I now have the heat back and am toasty and warm again. Great work G&R.

We recommended a new unit because you have carbon monoxide leaking from your unit, which is a hazard for your health - pictures of the reading should have been attached to the service form. If you did not receive them please contact us at 224-419-5324 and they can be sent over again.
Let me be honest, the tech did great. He got me heat when it was really cold but they raked me over the coals on the part. If I didn't have children I would have told him to take the part back. His jacket said Barrington heating and air not G&R should have known I'd be getting charged for "overhead". $244.80 for a $15. Capacitor.
I continue to do business with this company because they have quality people who provide quality service at a reasonable price. However, I will not fill out a review every time I deal with them. It becomes a very annoying experience to go through with every business that I deal with
