Extremely disappointed with the lack of response we have gotten after picking up our puppy only for him to be sick with multiple issues. We brought him to the vet as soon as possible and quarantined him from our other dog, who still unfortunately got sick. We’ve reached out with the invoices and diagnoses from the vet and have been completely ignored for the last several weeks.
Puppy positive for parvo 3 days after getting him. Happytail will not return our phone calls after sending them the vet papers they asked for showing the positive test. He has a feeding tube, IV for many meds and has pneumonia from aspiration. We had him for a couple of days and he’s been admitted to the animal hospital since. A really long story but that sums it up. They insist it didn’t come from them, vet says different
This is for awareness on the AKC microchip registration. I purchased the registration from Happy Tail for $49.99. They apparently successfully registered my puppy and sent me the certificate, but when I tried to add my enroll pet to my Akc account Akc informed me the registration under my name is pending because my puppy has already been registered under a different family’s name. We thought we were getting a male puppy. They sent us a female. They told me she had a “scar” on her foot that was healed. Ended up being a VERY significant scar/injury and an entirely missing toe. We love her still, but this was not good business. I haven’t heard a word from them since I told them about this.
I purchased a dog from Happy Tails and they knew my dog was sick with Giardia at the time of purchase and they LIED tous and I when we bought the dog, we tried to handle this issue among them however they did not want to help in the process and we have since continue to rack up bills from the Vet and the dog is not doing any better at all and is still sick with Giardia. My wife and I purchased a dog from this company back in Oct 2022 and our dog was a great match for us, however, we found out 1 week after purchase that our dog had Giardia and was sick. We contacted the company and the company failed to respond and will not help with the medical bills. Please do not buy a dog from this location because their dogs are sick and will not help assist my wife and me in retrieving the necessary medical bills to help with our dog. FIND ANOTHER BREEDER!
My experience with HappyTail Puppies is every bit of a 1 star. I purchased my puppy on July 16,2022 .I experienced some unexpected health issues, she was diagnosed with kennel cough on 7/25 and Coccidia. I contacted Happy Tails in regards to this issue, the response I received was “Kennel cough is not covered in our health guarantee it is commonly caused by vomiting during travel”. I've had my puppy for 5 months now and love her very much. Unfortunately communication here is terrible. With the price being set for $3000 you best believe I was full of questions before adopting. I recently purchased two puppies and extensive training from them costing thousands of dollars. I would like to commend Angel and Beth who have been fabulous! BUT the puppies came sick and one also had a moderate malocclusion that I was never notified about despite the fact that I was assured they were checked by their VET. When I complained they ignored me and still have not addressed the issues with the puppies. I feel they have been negligent and non responsive. Beware. Find another breeder. ***** *
