Simple part that costs $12, I was charged $175 to install, something that takes 5 minutes

1st tech had to go back to the office because he didn't have a part in his truck, took over an extra hour to get AND THEY CHARGED AN EXTRA TRIP CHARGE. He apparently didn't know what he was doing and was replaced 45 minutes later by another tech. After over 4 hours of my time (and over $400 for just a couple of sensors) it still wasn't fixed, he had to come back a few days later and I had to make arrangements for that.

I needed to remove my positive review!!! My furnace went out 2 days after G&R was here, so I talked to my regular HVAC pro AND 2 other HVAC pros after these guys worked on my furnace. I commissioned the G&R repairman to do a cleaning ... the consensus of other pros was that he should have cleaned the part, not change me $150 to replace in addition to the $98 furnace cleaning! I was given the choice of "replace for $150" or don't ... but then I would be without heat on a 3-day holiday weekend in January! BEWARE USING THE... read more

We recommended that you replace the flame sensor by the fact that it was dirty and corroding. When we signs of corrosion, we do not recommend cleaning the flame sensor for a couple of reasons: 1) Flame sensors are only expected to last 4-6 years at which point it is recommended that they be replaced as part of regular maintenance of your equipment. 2) Cleaning a flame senso... read more

Careful: Tech showed up to discuss the job. I got a quote for services: Materials cost were high, labor seemed steep. I placed my bet on the quality service based on the online reviews on this site. The delivered service was NOT what I asked for, and first time I have to tell a tech while on-site my dissatisfaction on the quality of the work he did very little to correct. I called to set up appointment for cleaning and testing my air conditioner. The appointment was for several days later as my unit was working and this was not for repair.The day of the appointment the time came and went and I did not hear from anyone. Finally an hour after the appointed time I called and Greg answered and said he was running late. He finally came 2 hour's later than scheduled. He was polite and serviced my air conditioners.
