He said they were polite and friendly but rather expensive. I used to work in this field and now what the cost should be. I would recommend them based on service and performance but I felt the cost was disproportionate.
The estimate was too high and he diagnosed the problem incorrectly. I'd never use them.

They were fine in the diagnostic phase but tried to gauge us on the simple replacement of a part I got for $73.00. They wanted $465.00 to fix the furnace.

Paid $135 for furnace cleaning that was not done. Instead, they told me I needed a new furnace. The local fire department came out and said the furnace was fine and that it needed a good cleaning. I paid $135 for nothing.

Although the issue was fixed within 10 minutes after diagnosing the problem; prices are ridiculous.

First, Pat the technician was excellent. He went above and beyond to try to help me. Now, the reason for my rating. When I hired G&R I explicitly stated I had a blocked air duct-as in no air coming through it, nothing. What I needed was a camera to see the exact reason for the issue. Pat did not have a camera. He tried very hard to assist me, but $285 later all I had was a hole in my wall (which I allowed) and more questions than answers. Texts and e-mails letting you know when they were coming were great to get. My AC unit was working but not cooling when they got to my house. They stated it was the motor that was burned out. Ordered a new motor and came to put it in. The compressor blew out the new motor supposedly and now they stated I needed a whole new unit. Unfortunately the repair did not last because the unit needed to be replaced. There is no way to know these things ahead of time sometimes and it is a risk you take sometimes by opting for repair over replacement. Went to HomeAdvisor at 5PMish. Only one business came up for broken A/C. I was contacted right away. I agreed to pay extra for the repair to be done that night. I was told to expect the repairman between 6:30 - 8:30. I received a no show and no call. After calling and waiting more and calling a few more times the repairman was dispatched and finally arrived shortly after 10PM. The repairman Pat did a wonderful job. I just wish I wasn't given the inaccurate information on the phone.
Company was very good up front to confirm appointment and contact me about techs arrival but then the tech showed up 1 hour and 15 minutes after scheduled arrival without another call to follow up with me!
