This was a big mistake. I understand the intention behind it but this whole process has been so bad. I put money on my account with them because I was under the impression that my process was complete, only to find out that you need income verification to qualify for any rooms ( even with a deposit ). I overlooked this as i figured it was something I missed in their policies.I called to attain my refund and I was told it would be in my account within the next few days. BE careful if you are African American. Let this be your last resort. Try Airbnb if you can afford it. They don't even allow you to see the star rating of the home until after you move in. Padsplit is an unethical company that takes advantage of people who are already in need by overcharging to live in what was built to be single-family homes. There are never enough bathrooms in the houses yet they average at about $800 a month. They false advertise homes and at the renters expense, Padsplit will still find a way to say a debt is owed. I am not a customer but one of their customers either accidentally gave my phone number when they signed up or PadSplit entered it wrong. I am being harassed by this company with texts and calls, despite never being a customer and repeatedly contacting them and advising that they have the wrong number and asking for my nunber to be removed. NIGHTMARE! Online the room looked bigger. I get there , after Ive paid over 300$ and in person the room was big enough for a full bed. THATS IT. LITERALLY! It felt worse than a jail cell. I instantly started having a panic attack and became claustrophobic and had to immediately vacate the premises! Then I call them and let them know this. They were NO HELP AT ALL. Didnt get a refund either. Even though I only walked into the room n immediately walked out. I dont recommend this to ANYONE!

THIS IS A CON. The charged me all these fees to become a verified member background check, rental history, income etc... I get approved. I pay for a room only to get a rejection letter 2 days later. Because of rental history. I have no evictions because I just signed a lease with a apartment from *******************. My move in date is May 23. I need a place for a month. So I got denied 3 times. They collected their setup and laugh while I got denied. It's a con....DO NOT USE!! ******* ** MARKET

We are fortunate our house is in good condition, and our house mates are very nice. our house stays very quiet, and comfortable. Took many months to get the home owner/management team to address a few of the things that needed to be fixed but they did get to them. I knew it would be trouble from that moment. I made sure to avoid him. I noticed he would always open his door or come out of his room everytime I came out to leave, cook, or go to the restroom.
