PadSplit's screening process leaves a lot to be desired. A Padmate in the house I live in has multiple arrests, restraining orders granted against her, and a plea bargain of no contest for battery. Now she is raising a pit bull in the house as an emotional support animal and the dog is allowed to bark at and ***** other Padmates. She can say or do anything to anybody. She can scream, curse, call names, slam doors, anything and when I filed a complaint, PadSplit did nothing but send a cut and paste reply.

PadSplit can be a relief from high rents if the landlords were held accountable when they do not clean their houses before you move in into their home. So far the Florida homes are fine. The Florida homes even in the worst neighborhoods, the homes are beautifully kept. This property is overrun by drugs and prostitution. There are physical fights on a daily basis. To make matters worse, there are multiple children staying at that location unsupervised.

Scam alert! This company violates all housing laws. The homes are single family units with the common areas sectioned off to make the entire house (except ******************* bedrooms. This awful company preys upon vulnerable people with housing/financial challenges. This den of thieves company encourages referrals through offering a $250 gift card 14 days after the referral moves in, this is a SCAM! I first discovered Padsplit a few months ago. It seemed like a great idea. You rent a room for as long as you want with no lease or contract for a reasonable weekly fee of your choosing. I was very excited to move into my first rental. Sadly, the reality of the situation wasn't what I had hoped. "The room I reserved was not as advertised on the website. Upon arriving at the property, I discovered an eviction notice on the door, blood stains on the floor, and a tenant who was familiar with my door code. Two times in the last year I've had to move due to people living in the home not on the app for my personal safety. Only phone you can call is their basic customer service no corp email. They tell you fill out a rating. There is no sense of urgency for your safety when people have guest living there.

I asked to be notified about a room 11 months ago, through the Alert me feature, and I was never notified . Now the house is full. Also I referred someone to pad split ALMOST A YEAR AGO, and you guys never gave me 250 off my rent. They are still living in a padsplit. Furthermore, padsplit has removed their account 3 times .
