My name is **************** And this is a scam!! My mother was paying 27 dollars a month for a little over 10 years and then she passed away on April 21 of this year and my siblings and I found out that she had to be 120 years old to get the full $10,000! My uncle had to pay a little over $5,000 for her funeral and cremation cost. Don't get this life insurance, I highly don't recommend this!

Agent lied to me about me being the original owner of the policy I bought since I was paying them the money every month for it knew he was lied all along he took my bank info after I told him I wanted to be the owner knowing he put on the policy my spouses name as the owner then I had to get my spouse to call americo to get permission to talk about the policy I was paying them for and fill out a change of ownership form called ******* the regulatory compliance manager on April 26 that agent emailed me that same day saying I ... read more

over 2 hours of hold time and rude unprofessional reps . 3 Americo reps told me the policy number I gave them was not one of theirs even though it was on the letter I got from Americo that was sent to me based on a called in to Americo discussing this policy with them 2 weeks ago . Call #1 the Americo rep then transferred me to a dead extension i believe on purpose. Call# 2 the Americo rep transferred me to a sales rep who could do nothing for me again on purpose. Elderly SCAM!!! Charging an outrageous amount for what? My Father is 83 and they took advantage of him and I have proof! Don't buy ANYTHING from this company. On the phone for hours to jump through hoops. Defiantly getting a lawyer!

If I could put 0 stars i would..this company *****.I needed to withdraw funds from my ***, downloaded. The forms needed, filled them out and saw that I could receive my funds overnight via ***** for a $20 charge, however, that was not the case when I called the next day was it takes 15 business days to process. I asked the customer service representative why is that an option on the form and why doesn't it say 15 business days to process, she told me they don't disclose that. Less than 1 star. Americo sold ***** year old Mother a policy 7 years ago for ******. It only matures in ****. My Mother will be 120 years old. They policy is worthless for her. And she pays $53.23 a month and the policy at the moment is only worth ******* it goes up by the year. My Point is they knew the elderly Lady did not understand the policy when they sold her that...SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on them.

I called Americo on 03/24/2022 to cancel my insurance policy, I was on hold for an hour and a half and even asked for a request call back. I received non of the above, so I decided to email them and cancel my policy with policy # then I received an automated email message of everything thats being offered with the company, but not one human responded to me. I put a stop payment thru my bank and they (Americo) managed to cut through that somehow to take out their payment. I need to speak to a human being ASAP. Wheres all the ... read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Some insurance guy from this company called when I was a single mom and sold me on the idea that I could pay my monthly premium and if nothing happened to me I would get my money back in full at the end of the policy, AND if I ever needed to cancel my policy before then that I would get almost all of my money back at any time. HE LIED!!! I called to cancel my policy, unfortunately the premiums are too much for me to continue paying right now and I could really use the money back. They ... read more

My mother initiated this policy. I have **** I sent a request to this company via email on 11.28.21 for a simple copy of the policy via email. STILL have not received a simple basic copy of the policy and it is now 1.22.22. I hear from different customer service reps that yes they can send an email and its coming right over, 24hrs later nothing..next customer service Rep says no we cannot send one over.
