THE WORST COMPANY TO WORK WITH!!! The sales agent *********************** never followed up to make changes to my policy. I had to call him back to follow up and no changes were EVER made! The company needs a new sales agent for sure. Called to cancel my policy and it took forever because the agent was new and clearly DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING!Of course I was billed the next day after the agent specifically told me that auto pay has been cancelled. My son is mentally handicap and recieving money from the VA and ******************************* His grandmother purchased a policy for him and since has passed away. My son wants to cash out on his policy and correct documents have been mailed certified mail and received. They will not answer the phone nor have they responded to the certified mail. There are laws against scams but when a person is mentally handicap or informed the laws are enhanced. We are in direct contact with the Insurance Commission at this point as well... read more

All the below reviews are unfortunately true. My mother passed away in February. We reached out to inform them of this and here we are in November, still with a 'death claim pending'. They have asked for all types of information, including a copy of her obituary, which I found to be odd when you are already requesting the death certificate as well. Attempting to call is moot. You're on hold for ridiculous amounts of time. At one point, the phone rung, someone answered and immediately placed me back into the hold queue. The c... read more

They cancelled my policy before even finding out that the info they received from ******** IntelliScript is totally wrong. They accused me of lying on my application because of miss information given them by this company. And dropped me before giving me a chance to prove it's wrong. That to me is a company I don't want to deal with ever. What they did was wrong and have me guilty of something I'm not.

Your customer service is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. In fact to call this customer service is an insult to people who work in customer service. I stayed on hold for 18 minutes to talk to a person who did not do anything to provide customer service. **********************'s game is to put you on hold until you hang up and delay paying the policy as long as possible. They sold a $1000 policy to my 81 year old mother who has dementia. All she remembers from the transaction with the scam artist is that it $1 a month. That was of course just for the first month.It matures when she is 124 years old. He preyed on this community knocking on doors and he should be ashamed. She could have put the 40 a month it actually costs, under her matress and gotten a better return. Complete c*** of a company and human being.

The worst company to deal with, I lost my Mom in June they took forever paying the funeral home I called for a copy of my Mothers policy to turn in to Fema and they were so rude they actually laughed at me .. Whats funny about losing a parent!!

Neglected to cancel my policy and refund my money. Ive made repeated calls and one agent didnt do what he said he would do. Second agent told me that a refund would be made, however, Im still calling for the refund.

My 76 years old mother, ***** I de ***********************, had an Americos policy since she was 61, paying $45 a month. She just received a letter that her policy was reaching her new renewal period and that her new payment will be $624.25. We called to verify because we thought this amount was yearly. Well, NO, they stated that her policy was just for 15 years and that if she didnt died before that time, her premium will go up to $624.25 if she would like to continue with the policy.
