I wore a Zio Patch much earlier this year.I just received a bill dated 11/10 (received after that), saying it was due on 11/25 (so, only 2 weeks to pay). In that time, I tried to complete their online bill pay, it would never work. I've called their company multiple times, using the phone number listed on the bill. **************** is extreamly bad and useless. My doctor recommeneded me 7 days heart monitoring. I used it for 7 days plus few hours more. They charged me for 15 days CPT code because I used more than 7 days upto 15 days. Called multiple times customer care, they redirected to hospital. Hospital said they provided 7 days CPT code, its IRHYTHM who charged 15 days. Avoid ZIO! If your doctor prescribes a heart monitor from this company, refuse it and ask for a different brand. After completing a 14-day wear period and returning the monitor by mail to iRhythm Technologies, the app said my data was received. Then I never heard back. I called the heart vascular imaging center that provided the monitor and they said they had no results. Then I called my primary doctor and same story. Terrible company with even worse customer service. I received a billing summary. IRhythm never billed my insurance. I've been in a phone tree for days without ever speaking to a human or receiving a call back. Now I'm past the due date. My HSA will pay for this I'm sure, but I'm curious why this company never billed my insurance and won't answer their phone or return calls. Terrible customer service.

I accidentally did an over payment in June of 2024 of $578.05 I have tried to get a refund since then. All I get when I call is that's it in process and can't be connected to that department. I also have been told refunds are only given at end of month only! I have also been told it's under review. My billing balance is zero so I don't owe anything.*** *.
This company and service is awful. The monitors adhesive wore off after only 2 days of a 14 day request. I called them and stated what happened, they reassured me I wouldnt be charged and apologize. A year later, I received a bill for almost $500. Now I am needing to work with my doctor and have them state the test was insufficient.
I had a very unpleasant experience with the Zio patch. The first one fell off in less than **************************************************** about 10 hours so I had to use adhesive skin tape to hold it down. I am not sure what adhesive the monitor itself has, but the underlying skin looked and felt like corrosive acid had been poured. Red, terrible itching, blisters, bleeding, open sores. They billed me $66.89 for a heart monitor in Jan so I paid them. I received my Tricare summary a few weeks later & found they had paid IRhythm $66.89. I called IRhythm and explained they got paid twice & the woman told me they'd send a check when they get notice of payment.
