Have stayed at the embassy landmark in san antonio a few times. Our stays have always been great. The first surprise that now you have to pay for parking. $11 a day. There is no reason for this as the parking lot was not secure. There are bars as you enter the lot but it doesn't require payment or payment as you leave. Anyone can come in and out at their own will. The manager special used to have great desserts. Now a wrapped stale cookie that were served two nights in a row. To start with, the parking is NOT free like described. While my room was clean, when I went to bed, the headboard was inches away from the wall so the slightest movement would make it knock loudly against the wall so I averaged a few hours of sleep due to continuously being woken up with the sound. I reported it to staff and all I was told is they’d have maintenance look at it. No offer for a thing and I eventually just had to get up and drive home because I couldn’t sleep.
The bed was horrible...my oin and I both agree that the beds were terrible and we got no sleep. Then the parking at this location is less then ideal. There is streetside parking, but was all full. Then we tried the parking garage and it was sketchy at night and didn't feel safe parking there with my son and I. We will not be staying again....ever.
Bed was awful...shower was cold
